Yeah I've looked on ebay. The thing is, the NetBSD port is for 32 bit processors which narrows it down to the Atari TT030 and Falcon which are quite rare. There is no port for any earlier systems.

It's being able to create free space to create a NetBSD partition without deleting the Mac partition. i.e. Resizing the Mac Partition. Doesn't seem like the disk utility allows you to resize. Kind...

NetBSD & Mac OS X

Just wondering if anyone who browses these forums has ever tried installing NetBSD along side Mac OS X without having to bomb your Mac partition first. I have been reading through the installation notes and it doesn't seem like there is any other way because it mentions nothing about being able to r...

Announce this!

I still amazes me how many people on IRC still use mp3 announcers. Sure these features were the beez neez a few years ago when every prick was writing a MIRC script. But really, who gives a s*** about what some pimply faced geek is playing on the other side of the world. Me for one, hence why I am s...

A few mates of mine use Gentoo and love it. Seems to be quite a good distro. Has a bastardised FreeBSD Ports system called portage which is cool. Give it a go.

short answer yes. you can setup one box which connects to the internet and share the connection. all you'd need is a crossover cable between your 2 pcs. if you wanted to share the connection between more than 2 pcs you'd obviously need a hub or switch. what OS are you going to run on the 'dedicated ...
