how the hell do you load one? i give it a URL but it still displays nothing.

As long as the URL to the avatar is correct, it should display it fine. Otherwise, we do have limits on the size an avatar is allowed to be which is 200x200 (rather large). Try not to get any that are TOO big... \o/

Unfortunately, it won't. It has to be external.

Are you still having trouble?

it could probably work but the forum probably masks out file:///...jpg with something like http*jpg and even then you'd be the only one able to see it.

damn those 50x50 jpegs they will eat your bandwidth EK *paranoia takes hold* Plus they execute code! they can cause buffer overflows! they will melt your CPU flash your bios chips with junk data and burn out your power supply magically! Don't host it ek NO0o0o0o0. hahah. </insantiy>
