something is up with the date preference in the profile settings.

it reads as follows:

[code]dd-mm-yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy[/code]

if i change it and save, it overrides my settings back to the screwy version.

Hrmm.. Okay. I'll have a look at some point today. Probably something goofy caused by an SQL update... Anyhow, I'll have it fixed.
